Meet Dr. Ross Gruber
For more than 30 years, Dr. Ross Gruber has been dedicated to improving the oral health of children, helping them build healthy habits that lead to beautiful smiles for life. Passionate about prevention, he believes that early dental care is the key to avoiding future problems. By educating both parents and children on proper oral health practices, he strives to make every dental visit a positive and empowering experience.
Dr. Gruber earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tulane University in 1989 before pursuing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, graduating in 1993. He then completed specialized training in Pediatric Dentistry at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, finishing his residency in 1995.
Committed to staying at the forefront of his field, he serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Pediatric Dental Residency Program at Stony Brook University School of Dentistry, where he helps train the next generation of pediatric dentists and stays current on the latest technologies and treatments. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Suffolk County Dental Society.
Outside the office, Dr. Gruber enjoys spending time with his wife, Beth, to whom he has been happily married for 30 years, and their two children, Alissa and Mason. When he’s not caring for young smiles, you’ll likely find him on the golf course or relaxing by the beach.
